Q: How are clinch nails used?

A: Clinch nails are made of soft metal or are cut so the pointed end may be bent over easily for clinching. This is an old-fashioned method of fastening than can still be used to achieve a rustic appearance on certain home-improvement projects, such as board-and-batten doors.
