“Traditional tradeshows have limitations. We concluded that many attendees use shows to collect material for a team at their home office to collectively make the buying decision,” states Hardy Hamann, VP of Marketing & Business Development. “To that end, we decided to develop our virtual exhibition enabling the entire buying team to view what our products can do for them. A virtual hostess will guide the visitor to the best solution. Videos combined with live-chat and download capabilities will make it easy to gain an overview of Starrett’s latest solutions and to schedule a one-on-one consultation at the client’s place of business as a follow up. As an extra incentive, visitors can win two tickets (including hotel and travel) to a premier US sporting event.”
The virtual exhibit will be open from September 8 – 26, 2014, which makes it easy for people to do their research at their leisure without ever leaving their office.
