The new black Strong-Drive® SDWS Timber screw not only offers strength and durability but also adds a touch of aesthetics to outdoor living spaces, making it the ideal choice for deck framing, fencing, pergolas and more.

Designed for projects that demand a robust fastening solution and high-strength wood-to-wood and wood-to-EWP attachments, SDWS Timber screws feature a bold thread design for superior holding power, a 0.220″ shank diameter that provides amazing strength, and a large washer head for maximum bearing area. In addition, the double-barrier coating delivers corrosion resistance equivalent to hot-dip galvanization, making it suitable for certain exterior and preservative-treated wood applications.

The screws also help ease installation: The knurled shank and patented SawTooth® point ensure fast starts, reduce installation torque, and eliminate the need for predrilling in most applications. The screws’ underhead nibs allow the head to be driven flush to the surface.
