Pavestone Patio & Drystack Fire Pit

Just in time for the coming spring landscaping season, EHT covers the construction of a large paver patio and its accompanying dry-stack walkways and fire pit. First, we focus on a lakeside patio built with a flexible base and surfaced with Pavestone pavers by Quikrete. You can check out construction details, complete with step-by-step photography, over at the EHT home page.

The plan for the lakeshore property in Talladega, Alabama involved more than 500 sq. ft. of paver patio and sidewalk, plus a large fire pit added to one end, all topped off with significant landscaping improvements. This installation was built on a sloped lot that emptied into Logan Martin Lake.

Keep an eye out for EHT‘s forthcoming April issue for details on how to build dry-stack fire pits and other landscape structures using natural stone
