Toledo, Ohio – Owens Corning announces the “Champion Your Project” Tour, a new mobile training experience designed to support home improvement retailers and their customers with the latest in product innovations and building materials. The tour will be rolling across the country from mid-June through October. It is comprised of a series of events held at retail locations and other localized events in Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Charlotte, NC; Northern New Jersey and Toledo, Ohio.

Owens Corning Champion Your Project Tour

The “Champion Your Project” Tour will feature expertise and training from Owens Corning for retail sales teams, pro contractors and DIYers. It will feature the entire portfolio of Owens Corning residential building solutions, plus information on energy and cost savings. The tour will be promoted through local TV, radio and Owens Corning social media.

“This tour is intended to deliver education and awareness around the many residential building material solutions Owens Corning has to offer through our Home Center channel supporting our customer success in a fun and engaging way.  We represent more than one retail aisle or project for our customer community.” said Eric Miller, Marketing Leader, Owens Corning. “Although our training events are tailored for pro contractors with a strong focus on roofing and insulation, several are open to the public so that DIYers and homeowners can learn about the latest products, energy savings and tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act, and support within storm impacted communities.”

The “Champion Your Project” Tour mobile training unit will make stops at major retail partners and other local events culminating in Toledo, Ohio at the 2024 Owens Corning 200 ARCA Championship race.

The events will kick off on June 18th with a public roadshow event at the Home Depot Store at 6810 Gulf Freeway, Houston, TX 77087 and June 19 with a Home Depot Tailgate/Training Event at the Houston Dynamo FC game. (Tailgate is a public event, while the game is invitation only.)

This will be closely followed on June 22nd with a Training Event at the Lowe’s Store at 1111 Eastchase Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76120 and a Texas Rangers game (game is an invitation only event). On June 25 the tour continues with a Lowe’s Tailgate/Training Event at the Frisco Roughriders game. (Tailgate is a public event / game is an invitation only event.)
