Mayhew Tools Introduces the SureForce Line of Clamps

Clamps that deliver the highest clamping force with the least effort.

Turners Falls, MA: Mayhew ToolsTM, the global leader in hand tools announces SureForceTM Clamps, a new product line of mechanical and hydraulic clamps that incorporate patented innovations to provide the highest clamping force available for their size. Mayhew is the exclusive importer of these European made clamps for the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Numerous innovations are incorporated within the SureForceTM Clamps. The popular screw type clamps employ ball bearings that reduce friction. This allows the clamping force to be up to 40% greater than other screw clamps, given the same amount of torque. These clamps have additional features such as enclosed threads, which prevent debris and welding spatter from reaching the threads.

The SureForceTM Clamp product line has several types of clamps, each type is offered in multiple opening lengths. The range includes; Compact, Lever, Ultralight and Hydraulic Clamps, covering a range from 5 to 48 inch openings, and 900 to 4,800 pounds of clamping force. In addition, Jack Bars with up to 400 pounds of spreading force with a range of 26 to 126 inches complete the SureForceTM product line.

“These clamps are a natural fit with Mayhew’s hand tools. Automotive, industrial and construction users will certainly appreciate how well these clamps perform,” said Joshua Morse, Sales Manager at Mayhew Steel Products. “They’re easier to operate, have less deflection, while providing more accurate control over the clamping force.”

SureForce ClampsTM  are sold by the distributors and resellers of Mayhew ProTM tools in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Mayhew ProTM tools are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.
