The largest North American kitchen and bath show introduces a Luxury Lounge and an Outdoor Plaza along with expanded International Pavilions
The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), owned by National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA|KBIS) and produced by partner Emerald Expositions, will introduce two new gathering and programming spaces in 2024 as well as continue to celebrate its growing number of international brands. KBIS, held from February 27-29, 2024, in Las Vegas, will debut the Luxury Lounge, offering programming about what “luxury” is—and can be—in the kitchen and bath space. The new outdoor area, The Plaza, will host exhibitors as well as offer attendee activities, from games to food trucks and happy hours.
“It’s exciting to venture into new avenues for KBIS 2024,” said Suzie Williford, EVP & Chief Strategy Officer of NKBA|KBIS. “The Plaza creates a space for show-goers to relax and connect as well as showcase products. And the Luxury Lounge offers attendees a chance to learn more about high-end kitchen and bath, as well as enter into discussions with designers, experts and even authors. Both will be must-see KBIS exhibits.”
The show will also feature over 200 international brands from nearly 30 countries, of which more than 75 are new exhibitors. The show floor continues to expand with 120,000 net square feet of global exhibits, including Pavilions for Brazil, Germany, Turkey, and the UK. Noted Williford: “The lineup of international exhibitors will be phenomenal, and we want attendees to get to see the full breadth of products from around the world.”
The Luxury Lounge, sponsored by Homethreads
The Luxury Lounge, sponsored by Homethreads, will be a place for the architecture and design community, design media, influencers, and high-end brands to explore luxury in kitchen and bath. Located in the North Hall, the Lounge will provide an inviting oasis for conversation and host programming that explores the multifaceted meaning of “luxury”—from the concept of quiet or discreet luxury to the application of sustainability and technology in the ultra high net worth market.
“We are thrilled about partnering with KBIS 2024. At HomeThreads, we leverage the power of technology to help customers uncover their unique style, making it effortless for them to create a space they’ll love. The new Luxury Lounge offers an exciting opportunity to foster meaningful conversations, share industry insights, and showcase more of the HomeThreads vision and some exciting future collaborations,” said Antoine Grant, CEO of HomeThreads.
KBIS exhibiting brands are invited to sponsor panels, which includes the ability to recommend the moderator and a designer for a discussion. Content for each panel will be coordinated by the brand spokesperson, designer participants, and Sharp Think. For more information, contact KBIS sales here.
The Plaza
A new and engaging outdoor experience at KBIS, The Plaza will host a diverse selection of manufacturers, live product demonstrations and feature food trucks, bonfire pits, seating with heating, live music, and games. Top brands include L’Atelier Paris Haute Design, a first-time exhibitor to KBIS, known for crafting the world’s finest made-to-measure, professional-grade ranges and kitchen suites. Lutron will host roughly 30 tours per day of their Tiny Home onsite and KUCHT will present a new trailer to house their outdoor kitchen offerings. The Plaza will be located directly across the South Entrance and to the side of the Monorail station.
International Pavilions
Presenting more international brands than previous years, KBIS 2024 looks to spotlight the global reach of the kitchen and bath industry. The UK pavilion will feature brands such as Thomas Crapper, Lakes Bathrooms Limited, Nymas, and Senstec. Turkish Ceramics, which is a new exhibitor, will debut their booth at the Turkish Pavilion. Exhibitors at the German Pavilion will include imos AG, Ballerina-Küchen, nobilia North America, Inc., Kessebohmer USA Inc., Hettich America and Bauteam GmbH, among other major brands. There will also be the NKBA Global Connect Lounge and NKBA Global Connect Kiosks alongside the Pavilions in the South Hall.
