Q: I installed a new stainless kitchen sink and faucet, but now the faucet wobbles. Is there a way to stabilize it?

A: Most stainless sinks will flex a bit when coupled with a high-arc faucet. For this reason, manufacturers often include a Kitchen Faucet Stabilization Plate as an accessory with the product. These plates mount beneath the faucet and under the sink to add unseen support for heavy or high-arc faucets. Check the sink/faucet packaging to make sure you haven’t left this item out during installation. If the part was not included or has been misplaced, some manufacturers such as Delta sell the stabilization plates separately, although you need to make sure the plate will fit your specific kitchen faucet.
