In a class of its own, NyloDeck does not contain wood or PVC, but is uniquely made using 100 percent recycled carpet fiber. It’s one of a kind composition offers inherent strength qualities as well as moisture and termite resistance.
Exceptional Performance
Exceptionally strong and rigid, NyloDeck has two span ratings which allow for joist spans up to 24” O.C. and 45⁰ diagonal patterns at 16” O.C. It can carry twice the load of other composites at 16’ spans. Lightweight and easy-to-use, NyloDeck installs like a builder’s dream and is available in lengths up to 24’.
NyloDeck has the best expansion and contraction rate of all synthetic lumber materials which enable greater design possibilities. Third party testing has shown an unfastened 20’ NyloDeck board will expand or contract about 1/8” during a 100° F temperature swing. Under the same conditions, WPC and PVC composites can expect movement anywhere from 1/2” to 3/4”. The minimal movement of NyloDeck allows you to build with tighter and more intricate design patterns that will hold up well over time.
Structurally sound, NyloDeck is also ideal for dock and other harsh environment applications. The product permits direct water and ground contact since it can handle extreme moisture and temperature conditions.
